Mondo Manu

Mondo Manu is a five to ten-minute educational television show for children produced by Associated Broadcasting Company and Nation Broadcasting Corporation and broadcast on AksyonTV. Hosted by Manu Sandejas, the show focuses on topics related to nature and animal species of the Philippines and other parts of the world. It also features some of the interactive projects related to the environment. The show debuted August 8, 2011. In 2013, Mondo Manu is now also aired and premieres last February 2013 on TV5

Mondo Thingo

Mondo Thingo was an Australian pop culture television show which aired for 37 episodes on the Australian Broadcasting Corporation in 2004. The show was presented by Amanda Keller, with regular appearances by Steve Cannane and Robbie Buck. The series irreverently covered elements of popular culture, including movies, music, internet, fashion and marketing – or in Keller's words, "the soft underbelly of pop culture". The program was generally well received by viewers, but critical opinion was somewhat polarised: a Sydney Morning Herald team compiling the newspaper's 2004 "Couch Potato" Awards was divided between those who found the program annoying, and those who found it well-written and entertaining. Some critics also decried that several of the ABC's arts programs were axed to make way for broader, more populist material such as Mondo Thingo.

Earthflight 2011

Earthflight is a British nature documentary that shows a flight from the view of the wings of birds across six continents, showing some of the world's greatest natural spectacles from a bird's-eye view. it was created by the BBC and the first episode, narrated by David Tennant, aired on BBC One on 29 December 2011. A two-hour subset of Earthflight was aired in October 2012 by the Discovery Channel in the US as Winged Planet. The entire first series aired on PBS, beginning in September 2013, under the title Earthflight, A Nature Special Presentation.

The World Wars 2014

The World Wars tells the story of three decades of war told through the eyes of various men who were its key players: Roosevelt, Hitler, Patton, Mussolini, Churchill, Tojo, DeGaulle and MacArthur. The series examines the two wars as one contiguous timeline starting in 1914 and concluding in 1945 with these unique individuals coming of age in World War I before ultimately calling the shots in World War II.

The 10th Kingdom 2000

The 10th Kingdom is an American fairytale fantasy miniseries written by Simon Moore and produced by Britain's Carnival Films, Germany's Babelsberg Film und Fernsehen, and the USA's Hallmark Entertainment. It depicts the adventures of a young woman and her father after they are transported from Manhattan, New York, through a magical mirror into a parallel world of fairy tales, magical beings, evil stepmothers and self-discovery. The miniseries was initially broadcast over five nights in two-hour episodes on NBC, beginning February 27, 2000. It garnered good reviews but very poor ratings. It won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Main Title Design in 2000.

Shin Captain Tsubasa 1989

Shin CT takes place at the U-16 word cup in France. After some friendly matches in Germany, Japan defeats one opponent after another and finally reaches the final round against Germany. After hard matches against Italian and French top players, the German team seems to be even more supreme. The giant goal keeper Moeller, the all round ace Kalz and Europe's best player and forward Schneider offer the Japanese team an extremely hard match, but in the end Japan wins 3:2.

Getter Robo: Armageddon 1998

Dr. Saotome returns from the dead after being seemingly murdered by Getter pilot Nagare Ryoma and threatens the world with his ultimate creation: the Shin Dragon. Ryoma reluctantly teams up with his former co-pilots Jin Hayato and Tomoe Mushashi to combat Dr. Saotome. The pilots must also deal with the mysterious Invaders, aliens that have the ability to possess humans and warp their flesh to form hideous creatures.

Tin Man 2007

Tin Man is a 2007 four and a half hour miniseries co-produced by RHI Entertainment and Sci Fi Channel original pictures that was broadcast in the United States on the Sci Fi Channel in three parts. The first part aired on December 2, and the remaining two parts airing on the following nights. It was released to DVD on March 11, 2008; the same year it was rebroadcast in the United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand. Starring Zooey Deschanel, Neal McDonough, Alan Cumming, Raoul Trujillo, Kathleen Robertson, and Richard Dreyfuss, the miniseries is a continuation of the classic story The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, with science fiction and additional fantasy elements added. It focuses on the adventures of a small-town waitress named DG who is pulled into a magical realm called the O.Z., ruled by the tyrannical sorceress Azkadellia. Together with her companions Glitch, Raw, and Cain, DG journeys to uncover her lost memories, find her true parents, and foil Azkadellia's plot to trap the O.Z. in eternal darkness. Costing $20 million to produce, the first part of miniseries was the highest-rated program in its timeslot, with 6.4 million viewers; the miniseries itself would be the highest-rated miniseries of 2007. It was nominated for nine Emmy awards, winning one, and was also nominated for a Critics' Choice Award. Critics gave it mixed reviews, with some praising the acting, soundtrack, and visual effects, while others found it overly grim and bleak.

Around the World with Willy Fog 1983

Around the World with Willy Fog is a cartoon adaptation of Around the World in Eighty Days by Jules Verne. The cartoon was produced by Spanish studio BRB Internacional with animation by Japanese studio Nippon Animation. In the same vein as BRB's Dogtanian and the Three Muskehounds, the characters are anthropomorphisms of various animals as the species depicted are of much greater variety than in that series. The core trio are all felines being pursued by three canine foes. Willy Fog is depicted as a lion, while Rigodon is actually a cat and not a lynx because of his tail and ears and Romy a panther. An English dub of the series was directed by Tom Wyner, which featured artists such as Cam Clarke, Gregory Snegoff, Steve Kramer and Mike Reynolds. While the series never achieved popularity in the United States, the English version found fame when it was broadcast on Children's BBC in the United Kingdom. The series was initially screened in 1984 in the UK and then on RTE in Ireland, while other dubs gained the series fanbases in several other countries. The series was also dubbed into Japanese and aired on Japan's TV Asahi in 1987, where it was titled Anime Around the World in 80 Days.

Around the World in 80 Days 1989

Around the World in 80 Days is a 1989 three-part television Eastmancolor miniseries originally broadcast on NBC. The production garnered three nominations for Emmy awards that year. The teleplay by John Gay is based on the Jules Verne novel of the same title. Starring Pierce Brosnan as Phileas Fogg, Eric Idle as Passepartout, Julia Nickson as Princess Aouda, and Peter Ustinov as Detective Fix, the miniseries featured multiple cameo appearances, including Patrick Macnee, Simon Ward, and Christopher Lee as members of the Reform Club, and Robert Morley, who had a cameo in the 1956 film adaptation, and Roddy McDowall appear as officials of the Bank of England. Other familiar faces, credited as guest stars and in more substantial roles, include John Hillerman, Jack Klugman, Darren McGavin, Henry Gibson and John Mills. The heroes travel a slightly different route than in the book, and the script makes several contemporary celebrities part of the story who were not mentioned in the book, such as Sarah Bernhardt, Louis Pasteur, Jesse James, Cornelius Vanderbilt and Queen Victoria.

Mrs. Pepper Pot 1983

Mrs. Pepper Pot, known in Japanese as Spoon Oba-san, is a Japanese anime television series, which premiered on NHK from April 1983 to March 1984, spanning 130 episodes. It is based on the novel Mrs. Pepperpot by the Norwegian author Alf Prøysen. It was also later aired in Japan by the satellite television network Animax. The series was later aired across several countries worldwide, and has been translated into English and several other languages.

Akko's Secret 1969

Himitsu no Akko-chan is a pioneering magical girl manga and anime that ran in Japan during the 1960s. The manga was drawn and written by Fujio Akatsuka, and was published in Ribon from 1962 to 1965. It predates the Mahōtsukai Sunny manga, printed in 1966. However, that title is the first magical girl anime as Himitsu no Akko-chan was not broadcast until 1969. The original anime ran for 94 episodes from 1969 to 1970. It was animated by Toei Animation and broadcast by TV Asahi. It has been remade twice, in 1988 and in 1998. Two Akko-chan movies were made in 1989 and five were created between 1969 and 1973. It also adapted into a live action film released in September 1, 2012.

CB Chara Nagai Go World 1991

CB Chara Nagai Go World is an original video animation based in the works of Go Nagai. It was originally released from February 21, 1991 to June 27, 1991 in three episodes. Following the same concept, a oneshot manga by Nagai was released in 1992. The OVA was also released in Italy under the name Il pazzo mondo di Go Nagai.
